Patrice Evra discloses Ten Hag’s three crucial Man United decisions: “I’m happy,”

Erik ten Hag, the club’s manager, has made three crucial decisions, according to former Manchester United great Patrice Evra.

Evra claimed that Ten Hag had given Malacia, the left-back, a chance while benching his captain Harry Maguire and giving Cristiano Ronaldo a rest.

The former France international also expressed his satisfaction with Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane’s center-back pairing for the Red Devils.

Recall that Ten Hag transferred from Ajax to Manchester United a few months back.

Evra told Betfair, “He dropped the captain, he benched Cristiano Ronaldo, he gave the left-back Malacia a chance and that was a tremendous statement.”

“Things changed with a few players, not because they played so poorly, but because there was a lot of negativity about those guys, and sometimes you have to get rid of this negativity. He had the guts to take the risk.

“Ten Hag made some significant judgments that caused great shockwaves. He is correct, but you have a manager, therefore you must respect his judgment.

I understand Cristiano Ronaldo’s unhappiness, he said, but Ten Hag also said, “I’m going to start a new era, Ronaldo is still in my plan,” and I have no doubt that Ronaldo is in his plan.

If they haven’t already, Ten Hag and Ronaldo should have an open dialogue, in my opinion. Right now, everything that happens makes sense.

“Being the captain is never easy, especially when you represent Manchester United.

To oust the captain is a significant pronouncement. This is more significant than whatever or whatever Cristiano Ronaldo is. Harry Maguire must be struggling, I guess.
