As gunmen storm an APC meeting two people are killed and two more are injured

Unidentified gunmen have killed two people in Ebonyi State who are thought to be members of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The event allegedly occurred in the Mkpuma Akataka Community of the State’s Izzi Local Government Area.

The APC gathering was taking place in the community late Friday when the gunmen invaded the premises and began fire, according to reliable sources.

The hoodlums, who were alleged to be two in number, arrived on a motorcycle and immediately zoomed away after completing their job.

Two people have been declared deceased, while two more are being treated at the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital in Abakaliki.

Attempts to contact Police Public Relations Officer Chris Anyanwu have so far yielded no response.
