The Special Counsel to IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, Aloy Ejimakor, stated on Wednesday that the self-determination was not opposed to President Bola Tinubu.
Kanu’s self-determination, according to Ejimakor, was directed against the Nigerian State and not Tinubu.

Ejimakor remarked in a tweet that former president Muhammadu Buhari chose to kill and use extradition as a result of exercising his right to self-determination.
He encouraged Tinubu to use wisdom and avoid making the same error Buhari had.
“The demand for self-determination is not personal,” claims Ejimakor. It is a demand of the Nigerian State rather than the President of that country. Buhari was the one who took it personally to the point of murder and kidnapping in retaliation. President Tinubu ought to be astute enough to avoid making the same error twice. RONU.
