Asisat Oshoala of the Super Falcons has referred to Nigeria as “the best country in the world,” highlighting her desire to always give her all while wearing the national team shirt.
This was said by the 28-year-old in a post-game interview following the Super Falcons’ 3-2 triumph on Thursday over World Cup co-hosts Australia.
According to furucinovel, Oshoala scored Nigeria’s third goal after coming off the bench, becoming the first African player to score in three distinct tournament iterations.
She scored her first World Cup goal in Nigeria’s 2015 3-3 tie with Sweden, and she scored her second in France’s 2-0 World Cup triumph against South Korea.
The Barcelona Femen responded by saying that passion is what motivates her.
“I want to make sure I did everything at every tournament I attend, including fighting for my teammates and this badge. Nigeria is the best country in the world, according to Oshoala.
