The nomination of Dr. Ibrahim Yusuf Ngoshe to the position of commissioner has been revoked by Governor Babagana Umara Zulum.
Malam Isa Gusau, the spokesman for the Governor, made the announcement in a statement that was released on Saturday. In the statement, he said that the number of commissioner nominations has been reduced from 18 to 17.

On Friday evening, Zulum penned a letter to the Borno State House of Assembly in which he explained his decision and attached the letter.
According to the announcement, Governor Zulum had presented the Assembly with 18 names on Friday, July 28, 2023, including that of Ngoshe, whose name had been presented thirteenth on the list.
