The appointment of Assistant Commissioner of Police Olumuyiwa Adejobi to the position of Force Public Relations Officer, or PRO, has been authorized by Olukayode Egbetokun, the acting IGP.
Anjuguri Manza, an administrative officer in the Force Public Relations Department, made the announcement in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja.

Anjuguri clarified that Adejobi’s reappointment came after his recent promotion to Assistant Commissioner of Police, or ACP, from Chief Superintendent of Police.
He served as the PPRO for the Ogun State Police from 2008 to 2016, the PPRO for Zone 2 Headquarters in Onikan, Lagos in 2016, and the PPRO for the Lagos State Command from 2020 to 2021.
In 2021, Adejobi was appointed as the Deputy Force PRO at Force Headquarters in Abuja. He most recently served as the Force PRO prior to being reappointed by the new IGP.
