Simon Ekpa not one of our members is utilizing ESN to swindle others

The Eastern Security Network, or ESN, is allegedly being utilized as a means of fraud by the Biafra agitator Simon Ekpa, who resides in Finland.

They said this while separating ESN from Ekpa and highlighting the fact that he is not a recognized unit member of the security organization.

It is incorrect, according to IPOB spokesperson Emma Powerful, to refer to Ekpa as the faction commander of the separatist organisation.

“We have watched with dismay as some tainted media outlets and social media sites have made concerted attempts to claim that Simon Ekpa is a member of the illustrious Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) family.

For the sake of clarification and emphasis, it should be noted that the aforementioned Simon Ekpa is not affiliated with the Eastern Security Network (ESN) and is not in any way a registered unit member of IPOB.

“Media outlets must consequently be properly advised to represent this fact in their articles going forward.

“Those who describe the aforementioned Ekpa as an IPOB factional leader are either mistaken, ignorant, or acting according to the plan of the DSS, who serve as his primary backers and have a primary goal of using criminals to destabilize the South East.

“ESN is unaware of Ekpa. He is in no way associated with the ESN established by IPOB, despite the fact that he has been exploiting the organization’s name to deceive trusting individuals through his endless fundraising schemes.

“Ekpa has a discrete organization called the Government in Exile. In the majority of his social media videos, he can be seen making references to these same facts.

“We are aware of the DSS and other agencies’ systematic efforts to infiltrate, discredit, and split IPOB with the sole purpose of weakening the organization from inside.

Powerful issued a statement saying, “It needs to be reiterated categorically that IPOB is not divided, does not have factional leadership, and is not affiliated with any organization that is working to criminalize the South East’s social-political sphere.
