Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi, Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has urged Governor Abdullahi Sule’s political appointees from the Toto Local Government Area and other stakeholders to remain together and committed to progress.

He also urged people to support the current administration in order to advance the state as a whole.

The speaker delivered the appeal on Tuesday in Lafia when receiving Sule’s political appointees from the Toto LGA.

In his view, cooperation among the political appointees and other interested parties would not only result in rapid development but would also advance regional peace.

“I want to thank God for my triumph and you for supporting me when I won before the tribunal.

“I want to give everyone the advice not to be sidetracked by the criticism from the opposition. Let’s stay on task and collaborate.

“The struggle is for the progress and development of Toto Local Government Area, not for me, the Attorney General, or any one of you,” he stated.

The speaker further exhorted the political appointees to guard from being duped by those who do not wish Toto well.

He additionally exhorted the political appointees to always obey official government policies and stances.

“In the interest of peace, success, and for the overall development of our area and the state at large,” he stated.

The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Labaran Magaji, had earlier stated that they had come to the speaker’s home to offer their congratulations on his tribunal triumph.

“Sir, God is working with you because you have good intentions for Toto LGA and the entire state, and you have a good heart,”

“We praise God that you overcame the obstacles of becoming the speaker and winning your case in the tribunal.

He declared, “This accomplishment is not just for you, but also for us and the people of Toto Local Government Area.

The Attorney General gave the speaker a guarantee of their allegiance and commitment to her success.

Be certain that we will do our best to help you succeed, the justice commissioner stated.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), those who paid the speaker a visit included the state’s commissioner for health, Gaza Gwamna; the state’s APC secretary, Mr. Yarus Dagusa; and the state’s secretary of the Teachers Service Commission, Mr. Usman Shafa.
