Before the start of the 2023–24 season, the Nigeria National League (NNL) plans to visit seventeen (17) of the stadiums on its list for inspection.
The date of the beginning of the event is set for the 28th of October.

Any of the facilities that do not meet the required quality will not be allowed to hold league matches, according to Dr. Ayo Abdulrahaman, who serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the league.
Dr. Abdulrahman advised the facility inspectors to pay particular attention to the playing fields of the stadiums, as well as the changing rooms, perimeter fence, media tribune, and other areas.
He further mentioned that in order to carry out a comprehensive assessment of the facilities, a special team of facility inspectors and compliance officers has been assigned.
