The state’s security is under siege, and Governor Lawal has called on the National Assembly to step in and provide a permanent solution.
“I want to appeal for urgent intervention. When you go back, you deliberate on the issue at the National Assembly to end the persistent security challenges affecting my state,” the governor said, referring to the fact that several federal lawmakers are currently in Birnin Magaji and have witnessed it personally.
Without regard to political affiliation, Governor Lawal emphasized that everyone must rise up and work together to address the issue of security.

I pleaded with everyone, regardless of their political affiliation. Come and let us work together to save the state from its current security crisis, regardless of your political affiliation—PDP, APC, or any other party.
