Due to an increase in traffic accidents in the state, Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal has approved the creation of a tribunal to address infractions and offenses related to traffic.
In order to handle the excessive traffic generated by trailers, the governor also announced that his administration will establish two truck parks in Gusau, the state capital.

This was said by the governor while presiding over the Zamfara State Executive Council meeting on Monday in the Government House’s Council chamber in Gusau, the state capital.
The Governor’s spokesperson, Sulaiman Bala Idris, announced that the Executive Council convened for the sixteenth time since Governor Dauda Lawal took office.
The Governor declared, “As part of my administration’s urban renewal projects, I have approved the immediate employment of 250 people for the Zamfara Road Traffic Agency, ZAROTA, to enhance the ongoing road constructions.”

The statement claims that Governor Lawal, the council chairman, was given thorough updates on each project’s status, difficulties faced, and anticipated completion dates.
The announcement further stated that “these updates covered various sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, education, and law enforcement.”
