A member of the House of Assembly pays the medical fees of victims of the attacks in Taraba

Anas Shuaibu, who is a member of the Taraba State House of Assembly and represents the Karim II state seat, recently made an announcement that he will pay the medical costs of victims of the recent attacks that took place in the Karim-Lamido local government districts of the state.

The attacks, which took place early this week in the Didango village, resulted in the injuries of multiple people, all of which were of varying degrees.

The deaths of two further people have been confirmed as a result of the attacks that are believed to have been carried out by ethnic militias.

Following his announcement that he would cover the medical expenses of the victims who were hurt, the legislator requested the ethnic militias who were present in the area to sheathe their swords.

He remarked, “We are all brothers and sisters; we cannot allow this situation where we kill ourselves to continue.” “We cannot allow this situation to continue,”

Shauibu went on to say that the current administration, which is being led by Governor Agbu Kefas, is putting in a lot of effort to make sure that peace is prevailing throughout the entirety of the state.

He made the news over the weekend during an unplanned visit to the victims who are still being treated at the Federal Medical Centre, also known as the FMC, in Jalingo.

The victims and relatives of the impacted folks, who erupted in joy when they heard the announcement, stated that the gesture would go a long way toward alleviating their suffering.
