The House further resolved to inform Governor Alex Otti about the purported acts of insubordination committed by certain government appointees, who either refuse or disregard invitations from the House and its Committees, and to urge him to summon them to order, declaring that the House would no longer tolerate such actions.
This came about in response to a motion of Urgent Public Importance on the subject, which was brought up by Mr. Lewis Obianyi, the member for Ukwa East constituency, and backed by other members who spoke on the subject. The purpose of this was to guarantee the execution of the resolutions taken by the House.

In the meantime, Mr. Nwaigwe Innocent, a former director of the Abia State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB), has petitioned the State House of Assembly, pleading with it to step in and overturn a salary suspension that the office of the Head of Service is purported to have imposed on him.
Nwaigwe Innocent claimed in the appeal that he was suspended without pay for engaging in insubordination.
