Awoniyi is eager to raise the Super Eagles’ goal total during a friendly game

For the Super Eagles, Taiwo Awoniyi is determined to score frequently.

The forward from Nottingham Forest has made four appearances for the three-time African champions, scoring once in those games.

The Super Eagles were condemned to a 2-2 draw in a test match on Friday because the 25-year-old failed to make an impact.

Every striker wants to score a goal since their job is to do both, according to Awoniyi, who spoke on NFF TV.

Awoniyi also discusses the impending friendly matchup between the team and the Desert Foxes.

He continued, “I think it will be a wonderful game for both countries.

Although there are many talented players in Algeria, for us, this game will help us get to know one another better and keep us focused on the task at hand.
