Conor Gallagher, a midfielder for Chelsea, might potentially move to Crystal Palace in the January transfer window, according to respected football journalist Tom Barclay.
Because Gallagher is an England international, Barclay said he wouldn’t be surprised if he transferred from Chelsea to the south London team next year.

Gallagher was on loan to Crystal Palace for the previous season.
He played 34 times for Patrick Vieira’s team in the Premier League last year, scoring eight goals and dishing out three assists.
While his colleagues Ben Chilwell, Reece James, Mason Mount, and Raheem Sterling are selected for England’s next Nations League matches against Italy and Germany, Gallagher has suffered the price for his lack of consistent playing time since returning to Chelsea from his loan at Palace.

While Barclay is open to the idea that Gallagher might be on Graham Potter’s short list for Chelsea manager, he hasn’t ruled out a January transfer to Crystal Palace.
Barclay told GiveMeSport that because he has grown to be a significant part of Graham Potter’s plans, “I wouldn’t be surprised that we are not even talking about this as a possible transfer come January.”
But obviously, if that isn’t the case and he is eliminated from consideration, Palace would be intrigued in a player of that caliber, especially if he were an England international.
