The struggles of American actor and singer Jamie Foxx, who suffered a brain hemorrhage that ultimately caused a stroke, have been made public.
The revelation was made by Foxx when discussing the reason for his hospitalization in 2023.
In a recent Netflix special, the 56-year-old actor detailed how he “blacked out for 20 days” due to a severe headache.
He recounted his stay at Piedmont Hospital, when he had a stroke and brain hemorrhage.
I asked my son for an aspirin on April 11, 2023, because I was suffering from a severe headache, but I soon learned that your boys aren’t prepared to handle a medical emergency.
I left the house before I could even look for an aspirin. Plus, twenty days have slipped my mind.
When Foxx awoke from his coma, he was unable to move and ended up in a wheelchair, according to him.
