The terms of Aliyu Abubakar and John Asein, two federal officers, have been extended by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Legal Aid Council of Nigeria (LACON) and the Nigerian Copyright Commission’s respective directors general are Abubakar and Asein.

On Sunday, the Justice Ministry’s director of public relations, Modupe Ogundoro, announced their re-engagement.
This letter was sent to Abubakar: Dated January 12, 2023, Ref: PRES/97/HAGF/174.
The appointment complies with CAP’s Legal Aid Act’s Sections 3(1) and (2). L9.

Asein’s letter, which certifies that he has been elected to a final four-year term, is dated January 12.
The appointment is supported by Sections 36(1) and (2) of the Nigerian Copyright Commission Act, CAP C28.
Abiodun Aikomo’s nomination to the position of Secretary of the Administration of Criminal Justice Monitoring Committee was also approved by Buhari (ACJMC).

The letter from Aikomo His tenure is said to be for an initial term of four years in Ref: PRES/97/HAGF/173.
According to Section 471 (2) of the 2015 Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA), his appointment is appropriate.
Abubakar and Asein’s reappointments went into effect on January 12, while Aikomo’s did so on January 16.
