Candidates for president sign a peace accord [Photo]

The Peace Pact was signed today, Thursday, by the parties’ presidential candidates for the general election in 2023.

Those in person for the signing of the now-usual peace accord were Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, among others.

Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’s nominee for president, was not present.

Kashim Shettima, Tinubu’s running companion, was present during the signing, nevertheless.
