Charles Oputa, alias Charly Boy, a maverick singer, has expressed his displeasure with Samuel Ortom, the recently discovered and impounded government vehicles in his garage by the Assets Recovery Committee of the current administration. Ortom was the immediate previous governor of Benue State.
Ortom’s possession of a large number of vehicles was criticized by him.

Because of Ortom’s criticisms of previous president Muhammadu Buhari, Charly Boy claimed he used to like him but no longer does.
He claimed not to have known Ortom was worse than Buhari.
