Carragher says “Your time at Stamford Bridge is over.” Chelsea player

Jamie Carragher, a veteran of Liverpool, stated that Thiago Silva’s time at Chelsea is running out.

On Saturday, the Blues held Manchester City to a 1-1 draw while Silva was absent.

On Monday, during the 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace, the Brazilian sustained an injury.

At the Etihad Stadium, Mauricio Pochettino began Levi Colwill and Axel Disasi against City.

And the two contributed to the Blues’ draw with Pep Guardiola’s team.

Disasi received particular appreciation from Carragher, who compared him to the team’s former captain, John Terry.

Carragher thinks Silva’s time is running out because he hasn’t appeared to have fully recovered this season.

He stated to Sky Sports: “Today, we have a big away game against Aston Villa in the [FA] Cup, and the last couple of big away games were here without Thiago Silva.”

Ever since he joined Chelsea, he has performed admirably. However, given his age and the fact that his contract expires at the end of the current campaign, I believe that when you see Disasi and Colwill playing together, well,

“Unless someone gets hurt, I think it will be very difficult for Thiago Silva to return to the club between now and the end of the season.

“I think Thiago Silva’s time as a Chelsea player has to come to an end, especially considering the two of them together and perhaps another young center-back in the team.
