Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, a popular Nigerian on-air personality and comedian, has continued to disturb the entertainment business with his covert jab at Big Brother Naija’s female housemates.
Nedu said on his podcast ‘The Honest Bunch’ during a conversation with BBNaija ‘Level Up’ housemate, Doyinsola David, that most girls who join on the BBNaija reality TV show do so merely to get customers (referring to sex), arguing they have nothing else to offer other than their body.

To support his thesis, Nedu stated that reality shows had a tendency of thrusting someone into the spotlight but providing no substance to sustain it.
“Many of them only have sex to offer. “They go there on purpose to get consumers,” he explained.
Doyin responded that it’s merely human nature to seek greener pastures and that a “client” might become a husband.

Doyin, on the bright side of the OAP statement, claimed that there was nothing wrong with ladies appearing on the show just for that purpose.
The claim comes only a week before the start of another BBnaija series, dubbed ‘BBTitans,’ which features both Nigerian and South African housemates, with the winner receiving $100,000. (over N50,000 million).
Most of the show’s stars were not pleased with this statement. Many Big Brother Naija celebs have spoken out in defense of their female coworkers who have been verbally abused.

In response, former BBNaija Season 6 star Angel Agnes Smith accused men of being jealous of the show’s hardworking women in a tweet.
“Men are incredibly jealous of women,” she said, “because I don’t see why you’re unhappy about a grown woman’s vagina.”
Former Big Brother Naija housemate Abiri Oluwabusayo, commonly known as Khloe, slammed Nedu for his remark, claiming that his behaviors demonstrate why his ex-wife allegedly cheated on him.
She also pushed him to seek therapy and recover from his tragedy.”
BBNaija star Joe Abdallah, who called Nedu’s remark “mundane,” stated, “I see no cause for such a remark.”
“Please leave our big brother girls alone,” reality TV personality Cross Okonkwo asked in a series of messages on his Twitter profile. They, too, are human beings. Big brother girls are great, talented, business-driven, and gorgeous, to name a few qualities. And if anyone sleeps with a man to get ahead, why don’t we call the man out as well? Please quit bringing them down and give them their flowers.”
Deji Morafa, a BBNaija star, also trolled Nedu, claiming that the reason he continues to attack BBNaija girls is because he applied for the show multiple times but was rejected each time.
Samuel Olatunji, also known as Bigsam, a popular Nigerian film producer, slammed the OAP for being misogynistic. Taking on Nedu, he questioned why the male reality star was attending the show as well.
“If the ladies at Big Brother Naija went there for ‘customers’. “What were the men doing there?” he inquired.
According to Samuel, the on-air personality was attempting to sever the industry’s credibility by portraying female celebrities as whores.
