Legendary Italian player Giorgio Chiellini expressed his surprise at Fikayo Tomori’s advancement at AC Milan, a former Chelsea star.
The defender was transferred from Chelsea to AC Milan in 2021 for about £28 million, and the following season he helped the Italian powerhouse win their first league championship in 11 years.

Gareth Southgate brought the player up to the England squad due to his performance, and he is now expected to start for England in the World Cup.
Before leaving Juventus to join LAFC in Major League Soccer, Chiellini watched Tomori lead Milan to the Scudetto, and the Italian claims he was taken aback by the defender’s development.
The Italian told the Times, “He astonished me because I saw him in Chelsea and I didn’t think he could be so strong in the box [or] attentive for 90 minutes.
