Adamawa State’s freshly sworn-in commissioners have been cautioned by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri to abstain from corruption and any corrupt tendencies.
He urged people whose only goal is money to voluntarily go before he sends them away.

On Thursday, he issued a warning in a post on his social media account.
He emphasized to them the importance of doing their jobs honestly and with devotion.
“To all of the commissioners who were sworn in today: You have been picked from among the many talented people that Adamawa State abounds in. Your dedication and fairness in doing your obligations are so crucial. Avoiding corruption and any corrupt tendencies is essential.

I must stress that the call you have answered is one of service, not of greed. I strongly suggest you to voluntarily resign before I ship you out if your only goal is wealth. If that is the case, you are in the wrong position.
