Cristiano Ronaldo has experienced his first official defeat since moving from Manchester United to Saudi Arabia.
On Thursday night, Ronaldo captained Al Nassr to a 3-1 loss to Al Ittihad in the Saudi Super Cup.

The Portuguese and his team were eliminated from the competition when Nuno Espirito Santo’s side won 3-1 at the King Fahd International Stadium.
Al-Ittihad eliminated Al Nassr and their star signing from the cup tournament with to goals from Romarinho, Abderrazak Hamdallah, and Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti.
Ronaldo nearly scored for his team in the 43rd minute, but his header was saved by Al-Ittihad goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe.

In the 67th minute, Al Nassr equalized through Anderson Talisca, however it was only a consolation goal.
Ronaldo’s debut for the Saudi Arabia giants resulted in a 1-0 victory over Ettifaq.
