The Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation refuted allegations made in some quarters that the government had not yet paid its employees’ salaries for June.
The majority of federal government employees had got their June pay, according to the Director of Press, OAGF, Mr. Bawa Mokwa, in an exclusive interview with DAILY POST on Tuesday.

Recall that a week ago, the federal administration attributed delays in some civil officials’ June salaries to technical issues.
But in an update on the situation, Mokwa said that the problem had been resolved.
“The situation is now resolved; the majority of employees’ wages under the payroll of the federal government have been paid. “Bank delays are to blame for those who haven’t received it yet,” he stated.

Olayinka Rahman, president of the Federal Capital Territory chapter of the National Association of Resident Doctors, earlier acknowledged that salary for June had been paid.
