Four alleged online scammers were taken into custody by agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s Benin Zonal Command on Monday in Benin City.
The suspects were taken into custody on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in various locations in Benin City, Edo State, as a result of useful information regarding their alleged illicit activities.

Oniovosa Destiny, Enoferodion Kingsley, Elvis Mohammed, and Igneweka Endurance were named as them.
From the suspects, four exotic cars—a Mercedes-Benz GLE 43 AMG, two Mercedes-Benz GLE 250 AMG, and a Mercedes-Benz GLK 350 4Matic—as well as phones were found.
The accused will face charges in court as soon as the investigations are over, according to the EFCC.
