During the anticipated three days, it called for localized visibility of less than one kilometer across the northern regions.

Additionally, the agency predicted that there will be patches of cloud over portions of Kogi, Benue, and Kwara, as well as a small dust haze across the North Central region.

It predicted a mostly gloomy sky with isolated sunny spells over the interior states.

The agency said that in the afternoon and evening, there may be sporadic thunderstorms over areas of Ondo, Osun, Rivers, Delta, Bayelsa, Lagos, and Ogun.

“Thick dust haze is predicted over the northern parts on Friday,” NiMET continued.

Because there would be dust particles in the air, it was urged to wear face masks whenever possible.
