Public funds are being diverted, according to the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
The ICPC Chairman, Prof. Bolaji Owasannoye, reportedly raised the alarm on Thursday during a two-day capacity-building session for members of the House of Representatives Committee on Anti-Corruption, according to The News Agency of Nigeria.

According to Owosannoye, if Nigerians do not address the moral problems caused by corruption, it will have a worsening effect on the nation.
