Actress Joke Silva, a veteran of Nollywood, has spoken out about her marriage to actor Olu Jacobs.

In an interview with well-known media personality and actress Nancy Isime, Joke Silva claimed that Olu Jacob had undergone substantial changes as a result of his illness.

The actress reflected on their early years together while discussing how her husband’s Alzheimer fight has influenced their relationship.

It wasn’t simple, she said. There came a time when I had to accept that all that was happening was fact and that, much like the person I married, was essentially gone 80 percent of the time.

But the fact is, he was literally my best friend when he was there, and he was an excellent husband and father to his kids.

“The husband I knew isn’t here for me anymore, but I still love this man,” she said.
