Ally McCoist, a former manager of Rangers, likened Chelsea’s new acquisition Mykhailo Mudryk to club legend Eden Hazard and described him as a flying machine.

In his first game for the Blues against Liverpool, Mudryk performed admirably, according to the former Chelsea and Rangers player.

The youthful forward, who recently departed Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid, was faster, according to McCoist, than Hazard.

In the 55th minute, Mudryk, who Chelsea had stolen from Arsenal, replaced Lewis Hall, a young player.

Graham Potter’s attack was immediately enhanced by the Ukrainian international.

“I will have him. He has an authentic appearance. He is, I’ll tell you, far faster than Hazard. He can fly,” McCoist said to talkSPORT.

James Milner was pursuing him at this same point in the six-a-side game while he had been on for two minutes.
