On Wednesday, during the celebration of Eid el-Kabir, he made these statements while speaking to journalists at his home.
According to furucinovel, the Oyo State government intends to appoint some top chiefs as kings, or “Obas.” However, Ladoja, the state’s governor from 2003 to 2007, has criticized the strategy.
Speaking to reporters, the former governor said that it is improper for a high chief and upcoming Olubadan to wear a crown, particularly if they are a part of the Olubadan succession.

He said, “You don’t fix what is not broken. High chiefs being appointed as obas, in my opinion, is wrong. The Olubadan throne is the only crown I want to don. Everyone is aware that one is made into an Oba by God. I don’t think it’s appropriate for high chiefs to wear crowns. My goal is to take on the role of Olubadan.
