The State Police Command has detained three people connected to the gruesome killing of a naval officer in the Idoani town in Ondo State’s Ose Local Government Area.
After making several efforts to flee shortly after committing the crime, the suspects were caught in various locations throughout the neighborhood.

After arguing with a business motorcycle rider, the suspects killed the naval commander by striking him with an iron rod.
Fumilayo Omisanya, the State’s PPRO, announced the suspects’ arrests and stated that the three other people connected to the murder of the naval commander are presently being sought after.
Three of the suspects have been captured as a result of our officers’ quick response, according to the PPRO.

“The other three suspects in the murder of the naval commander are currently missing.
I can tell you, though, that they will also be detained and made to answer for their acts.
A navy officer who was affiliated with the Navy School in Imeri was slain a few days earlier, escalating the tense situation in Idoani.

A sizable number of military personnel were dispatched to the area in response to the occurrence in order to apprehend those responsible for the officer’s death.
Numerous young men in the neighborhood fled the area out of fear of being detained, and other locals expressed worry about potential retaliation from the slain officer’s fellow officers.
Due to people’s fear of additional arrests by security personnel who have stayed in the area, the hamlet has remained empty in the meanwhile.
