Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, advised CBN Governor Yemi Cardoso on Sunday to withdraw the past administration’s new naira notes.
According to his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele called the new notes devilish, demonic, and harmful for Nigeria’s economy.

He said printing more of the new notes would cost Nigeria a lot, thus withdrawing them would save it.
Ayodele said the earlier design was excellent for Nigeria and should be the only legal tender.
‘’New notes designed by former CBN governor Godwin Emefiele should be withdrawn. The money will cost them a lot; he should stop.

The marine spirit money is harmful for Nigeria. Regardless of who instructed Emefiele, that color is evil. We should cease spending that money and return to the old naira notes, he urged.
