Nigerian goalkeeper Mark Ugboh has been promoted to the first team of Danish SuperLiga Club FC Midtylland.
Ugboh, 18, moved from his hometown club FC Ebedei to FC Midtylland in January.

The shot blocker made his debut with the club’s U-19 team, appearing in seven games and recording five shutouts.
The youthful player was recently elevated to the first team roster and recently received a five-year contract extension.
Ugboh is currently FC Midtylland’s first African goalie in the club’s history.

The teenage goalie joins Sylvester Igboun, Paul Onuachu, Frank Onyeka, and Raphael Onyedika as the fifth Nigerian to play for the Wolves’ first squad.
“Training with the first team is very beneficial to me. I didn’t anticipate it moving this quickly when I first arrived, but I’m pleased with my early results, he told the club’s official website.
“The goalkeepers with whom I practise are excellent. I observe what they do and attempt to mimic it. If there is something I am unable to do, I strive to learn from them in an effort to improve.
