In order to maintain security and a peaceful execution of the NLC protests in the state, Mr. Kanayo Uzuegbu, the Commissioner of Police for Enugu State, has directed the appropriate deployment of police operational and intelligence resources.
Tuesday and Wednesday were proposed as the dates of the two days of statewide protests by the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and its affiliate groups.

In a statement released on Tuesday in Enugu by DSP Daniel Ndukwe, the Police Public Relations Officer, the commissioner issued the directive.
Nonetheless, the commissioner advised the state’s NLC leadership not to carry out the exercise in a manner that may jeopardize public order.
While the organizers have the legal right to utilize protests to air their issues, the police chief pointed out that “they must also ensure that persons within their ranks do not disrupt the exercise or cause havoc.”

“I advise miscreants to avoid the protests since police would not hesitate to take serious action against anyone observed acting inappropriately.
“I urge people living in Enugu State to stay law-abiding, watchful, and report suspected criminals or anyone found acting in a way that is contrary to the peaceful conduct of the protest to the nearest police station,” he declared.
Your point of view caught my eye and was very interesting. Thanks. I have a question for you. https://accounts.binance.com/sl/register?ref=OMM3XK51
