Because of the Nigeria National League’s distinctive role in the nation’s football development, the league has made an appeal to business entities to support it.
In an interview with a journalist in Abuja, NNL Chairman George Aluo made the request.

According to Aluo, the league is still the most significant in the nation.
He also went over the accomplishments listed in the NNL’s first stanza and promised to step up efforts to bring the league’s performance up to par with that of other regions of the globe.
“This demonstrates the league’s significance and justifies the extra attention from corporate sponsors,” he said.

“Hooliganism is not tolerated at all, and the instances that we have observed were handled right away.
“Referee indemnities were promptly paid, and the teams are succeeding because of the excellent playing conditions.”
Ayo Abdulrahaman, the league body’s chief operating officer, went on to provide a statistical analysis of the first 193 matches of the 2023–2024 league season, noting that 383 goals were scored in those games, with an extraordinary 27 away wins and 45 away draws.
