NYSC advises Yobe corps members to exercise caution

To protect their safety, corps members have been advised by Mrs. Hafsat Yerima, the Yobe State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), to be watchful and cautious of their surroundings.

This was said by her during a briefing for the corps members of the 2023 Batch ‘C’ Stream 1 at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Dazigau, Nangere Local Government Area, state.

Yerima gave them the assignment to notify the closest security formation of any unusual or suspicious movements or behavior in their surroundings so that appropriate action might be taken.

“Corps members are required to participate in all camp activities, with the exception of those who have legitimate medical reasons verified by the camp clinic,” she said.

She also told them about camp court, which NYSC instituted to try misbehaving corps members who break camp regulations.

Yerima also gave them advice on how to utilize social media and advised them against using the networks negatively.
