Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the Secretary-General of Ohanaeze, claimed that the presidential candidate’s tactic was to use Ekpa to scare away Igbo voters.
Isiguzoro issued a statement that is in part summarized as follows: “Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has uncovered plans of the enemies of Ndigbo to hire a self-proclaimed Biafran agitator, one Simon Ifeanyi Njoku Ekpa, who had capitalized on the windows and lapses created by the ongoing trial of IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu, to incite panic attacks, disrupt the electoral processes, and lessen the voting
Simon Ekpa should be detained by INTERPOL for burning down public property, going on killing sprees, and attempting to sabotage the 2023 elections in southeast Nigeria. Ndigbo may be forced to reveal to the world who Simon Ekpa is working for in the elections because it is obvious that he is a paid agent trying to avoid capture by posing as a Finn.

“It has been found that Simon Ekpa is utilizing his declared Sit-At-Home on the 23rd and 24th of January 2023 to test the waters for his largest theft on the 25th of February 2023 if Ndigbo fails to pull out this decaying tooth (Simon Ekpa).
He is one of the smartest scam artists alive, playing the part of a presidential candidate who is unfavorable and unpopular and who is curious to utilize Ekpa’s annoyance to scare away potential Igbo votes in the 2023 Presidential elections as part of his winning strategy.
