Oyebanji urges increased cooperation among monarchs and development stakeholders

The governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has urged traditional chiefs and other project participants to find measures to ensure more cooperation in the effort to deliver the desired development to the state.

During the 70th birthday thanksgiving service of HRM Oba Adebayo Adewole, the supreme ruler of Ijero Kingdom, Governor Oyebanji made the statement that great things could only be accomplished in an environment where harmony and decorum persisted.

On the occasion of their birthdays today, he stated, “I have the utmost respect for our royal fathers and I pray that the unity you brought to bear on the founding of Ekiti state will be expanded upon as we develop our state.”

The Bishop of Ekiti West, Anglican Communion, Rt. Rev’d Cornelius Adagbada, praised Governor Oyebanji in his sermon for leading the state’s administration with the highest respect for the needs of the people. He urged the populace to continue helping the government succeed by working together and giving it their support.

Former Ekiti State Governor Engr. Segun Oni, members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, local government chairmen, Catholic Bishop of Ekiti, Most Rev. Felix Ajakaiye, Retired Bishop Ipinmoye, Bishop Nathaniel Olorunisola, and other numerous traditional leaders attended the event as well.
