Ian Wright, a former player for Arsenal, has asked the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to pay the Super Falcons’ players, coaches, and staff the salary and bonus arrears they are owed.
The NFF and Super Falcons Coach Randy Waldrum have recently been at odds over a number of problems, including the team roster for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, preparations, and unpaid salary, as reported by furucinovel Wright urged NFF to take appropriate action after Nigeria upset co-hosts Australia 3-2 on Thursday in the 2017 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Next week, the Super Falcons will play their final Group B match against the Republic of Ireland. If Canada defeats Australia in the other final group match, a win or draw will be sufficient for them to go to the knockout stage.
