Joe Igbokwe, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, has bemoaned the APC’s subpar compensation structure.
The APC recently unveiled its Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) for the general elections of 2023, which coincides with Igbokwe’s comments.

The PCC Secretary, federal legislator James Faleke, announced the list of the council’s 400 members on Friday.
The list included former PDP members like Femi Fani Kayode, who switched to the APC last year, and Chimaroke Nnamani, a senator who represents Enugu East Senatorial District.
Igbokwe responded by writing, “All things considered, APC Nigeria’s terrible incentive system in Nigeria bothers me to my very core.

“The party rewards slackers, hangers-on, layabouts, intruders, cowards, spectators, etc.”
Nnamani was designated as a member of the APC’s Presidential Campaign Council, according to Felix Morka, the party’s national publicity secretary, because Tinubu enjoys support outside of the APC and the “cross-party alignment” is common.
