Comedian Ayo Makun, often known as AY, has urged his fellow countrymen to quit harassing Alex Iwobi online.

On his Instagram page, AY asked Super Eagles supporters to stop cyberbullying Iwobi because his only transgression was traveling to serve his country.

The comedian challenged Nigerians to consider the consequences of their “evil” deeds rather than only their own interests.

Cyberbullying is a phenomenon that can affect anyone. Adverse content uploaded on the internet has the ability to quickly travel great distances and is never easily removed. It is difficult for sufferers to defend themselves or take preventative measures due to the rapidity of the spread. You will all still be perplexed tomorrow as to why players like Saka and others will never be allowed to represent Nigeria.

It’s time to consider the consequences of your wicked deeds rather than just your own interests.
