Tajudeen Abbas, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, has ordered an immediate investigation into the bandit attack that occurred on Saturday night in Zaria’s Kofar Gayan neighborhood and resulted in the deaths of two people.
According to reports, the alleged bandits entered the neighborhood, fired randomly, and made unsuccessful attempts to capture some locals.

Musa Abdullahi Krishi, the Speaker’s special adviser on media and publicity, issued a statement in which he denounced the situation and referred to the fatalities as regrettable.
The killings, which occurred a little more than 24 hours after numerous people died as a result of the collapse of some of the Zaria Central Mosque, were described by him as regrettable, brutal, and repugnant.
The statement emphasized the need for a thorough investigation to be conducted this time to determine the conditions causing the ongoing attacks, noting that the repeated attacks in several areas of Zaria in the Kaduna North Senatorial District were unacceptable.

He urged security personnel to do a better job protecting lives and property, which is their main duty, and emphasized that at all times of day, citizens should feel comfortable going about their daily lives wherever they may be.
The attack that resulted in the deaths of our two innocent brothers in Kofar Gayan, according to him, was disastrous, horrifying, terrible, heinous, and despicable.
“It was extremely terrible that while innocent people were engaged in their regular and lawful occupations, others were preparing evil to sabotage the tranquility that everyone was enjoying.
