Remember that on September 22, 2023, armed robbers broke into three female hostels in the Sabon Gida neighborhood of Zamfara State and kidnapped an undetermined number of female students from the Federal University, Gusau (FUG).

In a statement released on Wednesday in response to the kidnappings, Abbas urged on security forces to free the students and stop any further incidents from happening. He also noted that the kidnappings pose major risks to North Korean education.

The Speaker, who was troubled by the worrisome nature of the ugly trend, urged the military and key security organizations to urgently change their organizational structures and methods in order to guarantee the safety of all Nigerians.
