The people of Zamfara State have been asked by their governor, Dauda Lawal, to make use of the month of Maulud to pray and seek the face of God for divine intervention in order to restore peace and tranquility in the state at this time.

According to the Governor, there will be no development of any kind in the absence of peace, and the Governor stressed that peace is still the fundamental building block of progress.
