In response to the cancellation of a piece of land owned by the relatives of the late Colonel Paul Osakpamwan Ogbebor, social media critic Martins Ortse alias VeryDarkMan denied threatening the life of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.
A video purporting to show that Wike took back the land that had been allotted to the Ogbebors since 1981 has gained a lot of attention online.

A WhatsApp broadcast message following the revocation alleged that the life of the FCT minister had been endangered by VeryDarkMan.
In response, the social media critic highlighted that he solely utilizes his platform to fight for the rights of the underprivileged and separated himself from the purported threat.
“I am not associated with the WhatsApp broadcast making its rounds. I did not threaten Nyesom Wike’s life,” VDM wrote in an Instagram post.

The sons and relatives of the late Colonel Paul Osakpamwan Ogbebor, a war veteran and the first cadet of the NDA code 001, have supplied the minister with authentic land records and allocations, and I humbly request that he take a second look.
Let me tell you about this piece of land Regarding the land that Wike revoked, I made a post on WhatsApp.
The person responsible for editing my video added a new caption that makes it appear as though I did it. It is not in my nature or character to be linked with jeopardizing the life of another person. Please, understand this.

When people are in the correct place legally, I use my platform to demand justice on their behalf and to speak out against oppression.
Just think, they’re going to accuse me of threatening Wike’s life, even though I’ve never threatened anyone’s life before. Because those individuals are the only legal owners of the property in question, my only action in that video was to beg him to review their paperwork again.
