Oba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye, the Soun of Ogbomoso in Oyo State, has begun the process of forming a 36-person committee in preparation for his coronation.
According to the furucinovel, the group is made up of eminent natives of the historic city on both the male and female sides.

On Friday, a Zoom conference was used to officially launch the group. It will be known as the Central Coronation Planning group (CCPC), and Professor Adeshola Adepoju will serve as its chairman.
The month of December has been chosen as the time for the new monarch to be crowned.
AVM (Rtd) Bolaji Adigun will serve as co-chairman of the 36-member coronation committee, and Rear Admiral (rtd) Jacob Ajani will take on the role of secretary-general. Other leaders on the committee include Rear Admiral (rtd) Jacob Ajani.

In his welcome address, Adepoju asked the attendees to do everything in their power to ensure that the coronation was a success.
He went on to encourage the native people of the ancient city to lend their support to the new traditional ruler so that their communities could see increased levels of development.
He assured her, “Kabiyesi, we are going to set standards that people in the South West region will emulate, and we are assuring you of this.” Because it is our shared responsibility to see to it that Ogbomoso land is developed to its full potential, His Imperial Majesty requires that we all work together.

“We are all a part of this because we want to embrace the installation of His Imperial Majesty as a benchmark that should be emulated in Nigeria. This is why we are all involved. For this reason, I strongly encourage all members of the committee to cooperate without engaging in any of the intracommittee conflict that could slow down our progress.
