Nigeria’s Super Eagles have been placed in Group C of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying tournament.
South Africa, Zimbabwe, and the Benin Republic—now led by former Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr—are also included in this group.

Lesotho and Rwanda make up the other two teams.
The group’s top-finishing team will automatically qualify for the World Cup.
In 2023, the qualifying rounds will begin in November.
