The effort, which began in key areas of Ado Ekiti, is planned to circle the entire state in a few weeks.

The invoices are in accordance with the laws and regulations currently in effect that direct how the Agency operates, according to Mr. Olaniran Olatona, Chairman of the Ekiti State Internal Revenue Service, who observed the degree of compliance of some business owners.

Mr. Olatona suggested that rather than attacking EKSAA officials on the field, clients should view Agency officials as their friends and direct their complaints to the relevant Agency authority for resolution.

EKIRS Boss emphasized that the invoices would be given to the owners of private schools, political parties, gas stations, and point-of-sale (POS) establishments so that they would know what to pay for the fiscal year 2023.

At the revenue performance analysis reviews and reports on Ministries, Departments, and Agencies under the supervision of the Ministry of Budget and Economic Development, Mr. Olatona restated the Agency’s commitments to fulfill the revenue target provided to her.

Mr. Okonkwo Chinedu, a merchant and one of the bill receivers, urged the state government to foster an environment where traders may get loans to grow their enterprises.
