Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, the deputy governor of Katsina State, emphasized the scope of the recruitment process, which includes two categories of candidates: 5,000 NCE/Diploma holders currently teaching in primary schools and 2,000 graduates working as teachers in secondary schools, when he inaugurated the committee in charge of holding the examinations in his office.

Jobe also emphasized the significance of evaluating the most recent hiring procedure, in which the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) hastily hired 3,889 teachers. To ensure that only competent and qualified candidates are accepted into the state’s teaching service, those hired earlier are also required to take part in the recruitment exams.

The deputy governor gave his word that strict procedures will be used to ensure fairness and integrity throughout the hiring process.
